Fund Raising

Since AFC Foresters started, we regularly put on Charity football matches to raise funds for charity or good causes, and are proud to have supported national charities such as Cancer Research, Diabetes UK, Parkinsons UK, the relief effort in Ukraine and our current Charity is the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal.

Recently, with the clubs good friend Nicholas Asamoah, through the generous donations of AFC Foresters members, Wellow Youth Football Club and Melchet School, we have donated football kit to Nicholas and his Ghanian Football Academy - Ra FC.  This is a Charity football club, founded and based in Andover Hampshire, and are Affiliated with Hampshire FA.

In England, Ra FC organise charity football events to give opportunities to local children of all ages within the community and work with parents/guardians to find a suitable local football club for children who are missing out on football due to their, development level or whatever personal situations the children may be going through.

In Ghana, Ra F.C are also a registered football club, with current plans to partake in the children's youth league, known as (Colts League) and the Men's Ghana Football League, starting at division 3.

They are using football to make a social impact on children and the communities they serve through donation of clothes, books, pens/pencil, money donation of local activities/events and football kits (donated by partnership clubs in England) which they ship and target different communities of the 4 regions they are currently working supporting/donating.

Their GOAL is to help as many people as possible to participate in football and try to bridge the gap for disadvantaged children to not miss out on "The Beautiful Game" of Football.
